1. Post-Truth – circumstances in which objective facts are given less importance and emotions or personal belief is given more importance and are more influential.

Sentence – In the context of post-truth politics, it’s 
easier to cherry-pick data to arrive at a conclusion of your choice.


2. Framily – a group of friends who are close like a family; friends who are more like a family

Sentence – Living with my friend for over one year 
make me feel like a framily now.


3. Captain’s call – the decision made by a political or business leader without consultation with colleagues;
Any kind of decision taken without reference to 
anyone else


Sentence – Australian PM Tony Abbot took a captain’s 
call by granting knighthood to the husband of Queen of England, Prince Philip, as he didn’t consult the cabinet.


4. Ombudsman – an independent official who has been appointed to investigate complaints that people make against the government or public organization or association.

Sentence – It is critical that we have an effective 
regulator and an ombudsman to deal with the rising 
complaints.


5. Ruinous (adj.) – something that can destroy things.

Sentence – Excessive expansion  of Artificial 
Intelligence(AI) in the future can be the ruinous cause for the whole of mankind.
