Advanced verbs


We all are using so many verbs in a day even we don’t know how many verbs we have use in a day.

Verbs are an integral part of every language.
Verbs help us to express the activity and the task which we’re performing, or have performed, or will perform.


Verbs are used by everyone around us, but not everyone is using the advanced verbs or those verbs which sound advanced that can attract other’s attention towards your speech(sentence/statement).

But during this tough time through which the whole world is passing, English Branded has come up with some advanced vocabulary or advanced verbs for you and to make you sound different and intelligent from others.

So let’s get started...

1. To clutch – to hold something/someone tightly

Sentence – She clutched onto me when it was 
thundering.


2. To crave – to have a strong desire for something

Sentence – My friend always crave for cakes and chocolates.


3. To clasp – to hold something tightly in your hand

Sentence – She clasped her mom’s hand when the teacher was complaining about her.


4. To dash – to go somewhere very quickly.

Sentence – I have to dash, I’m getting late.
5. To discern – To hear or see something with difficulty
Or, to recognize or to find out

Sentence – I could hardly discern the face of a thief 
due to darkness in the room.
Or, I was unable to discern the work of my employes.


6. To balloon – to swell out or to get bigger

Sentence – Unemployment rates ballooned during this coronavirus pandemic.


7. To alter – to make something or someone different; to change

Sentence – You need to alter your behavior before 
you go to meet the princess.


8. To blab – to tell someone the information that is to be kept secret.

Sentence – Tell your friend not to blab it to anyone 
else.


9. To amend – to change the law or any document slightly in order to correct any mistake.

Sentence – I asked my attorney to amend the legal 
documents of my property.


10. To amplify – to add any detail in something.

Sentence – The government authorities are restricted to amplify further in this case.
