As we all
know today almost every third person knows
the English language, and we can’t deny
from the fact that English has become the most common communicable language of
all time.
But not
everybody speaks right English and also not advanced English. Advanced
English really helps us in many instances. Advanced is about using the advanced
vocabulary, advanced phrases, and using idioms to decorate your sentences. It
sounds professional to use advanced English.
So in this
lesson, we'll look at some of the advanced
English words of day-to-day life
which helps us sound smart.

1. Hypocritical (adj.) – to pretend to be what
we’re not
Sentence – It’s transparently hypocritical to backbite
someone and to act
friendly when you need their help.
2. Pulchritude (noun) – beauty
Sentence – Her pulchritude attracts everyone around her.
3. Defalcate (verb) – embezzle, misappropriate
Sentence – There are many officials who had tried to
defalcate public
money.
4. Embezzlement (noun) – stealing of money; theft; robbing; pilferage

5. Otiose (adj.) – useless; with no purpose and
result

up.

Sentence – My friend got trapped in a conundrum by his own foolishness.

are able or allowed to do but not everyone

9. Flabbergast (verb) – extremely surprised
Sentence - I was flabbergasted by his act of kindness
because I’ve never seen
him before doing this.
10. Perspective (noun)– viewpoint, point of view, opinion, outlook
Sentence – Everyone has their own perspective towards life.
