Slang words are those which we use in daily language, these are not those words which we usually can find in dictionaries.
But these slang words are popular among the youth and sound smart.

Let’s see how we can use these in our day-to-day 
language...


1. Lit – when something is very good, exciting or      
    enjoyable

Sentence – Yesterday, the party was lit.


2. Fire – really cool and amazing

Sentence – Your performance at the annual function 
was fire.


3. Salty – to be upset or angry


Sentence – I’m salty to cancel my trip to France.


4. Savage – use to describe someone’s carelessness or a shocking event



Sentence – It’s savage to destroy someone’s 
belongings.


5. Slay – 1) to do really well or to succeed at something.

Sentence – I slayed this exam.
2) looks beautiful

Sentence – You are looking slay tonight.

Or, You slay.


6. Shady – to be suspect or sneaky


Sentence – Everything that he told us was sounding 
shady.


7. On fleek – perfectly done
Sentence – Her hairstyle is on fleek.


8. Shook – to be shocked or incredibly surprised

Sentence – I’m shook to know about her visit to US. 
during this pandemic.


9. GOAT – Greatest of all time

Sentence – This business idea is the GOAT for you.


10. Low-key – modest, quiet


Sentence – I want to keep my birthday party low-key.
